Another MOT passed. Turns out I've put more miles on the bike during the past year than I did during the previous three years combined.

I've taken up doing audiobooks again.
(and normal books too)
I've always been a *major* bookworm since I was a nipper.
So very happy that my reading mojo has returned. Dance!

The bin men emptied my bins (unfeasibly heavy*) without rejecting anything
*(due to a pile of rotting clothes I dug out of a suitcase in the shed Puke )

... if the bin is super heavy they start lifting stuff out to see what's in there. Nobody ever digs me out about what's in there though, and after about three weeks of ignoring it, they eventually take it anyway Rolling Eyes

They get a bit moody about any weeds or garden clippings too.

Even a 250 is better than being mistaken for the pond scum that is Deliveroo riders.

Mostly bollocks IMO but I would suggest something comfortable at
motorway speeds if you want to do any long trips.
Most 125's aren't really good at this as most will be working their knackers off at 70.

This is true but without my L plates I’ve got an edge!
And I hope that no one wastes a Monkey for delivering!

I know what you mean but I don’t even think it’s that… I presume a test entitling you to ride a bigger bike means that you should automatically get a bigger bike and if you don’t there’s something wrong!

I never wanted a big bike, just cheaper insurance (reduced my premium by £91) & to get rid of the L plates.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

PS I guess the ability to test ride a bigger bike and/or get a courtesy bike while mine’s in the shop could be another bonus!

Getting a full license merely means you passed a test to prove you're
competency and nothing else
there's no real pressure to buy a bigger bike outside your head
It means nothing more, don't sweat it.

If you want ride a monkey bike like a dressed up chimpanzee
and have the world laugh at your pathetic efforts because you cant summon the testosterone and cash for a proper machine like a real man then fine.
No one's judging you.

125's are thief magnets as far as insurance is concerned. Plenty of "bigger bikes" would be cheaper.
