Hi there, I've just bought a Yamimoto 50 bike, it's a year old, been regularly ridden. I filled it up with petrol and it immediately started leaking, quite a lot at first and after about 20 minutes just drip drip. I don't know if anyone has experienced anything similar? The fuel tank says it's half full but have I over filled it? or is there another simple explanation, thanks

Is the petrol coming from the clear pipe? Can you trace it back to the source?

An overflow pipe might be from a carb (do they bother with EFI on 50cc bikes?) the tank (as in you've over filled it) or the gutter around the tank cap (as in you've spilled some petrol).

There is usually a drain tube from the filler cap to let rain/overfill drain away ... you really need to trace the path of the pipe back to its source ... it it goes up to the tank then it's most likely what I've described (and also earlier in the thread). Thumbs Up

Its one of these folks.

Do it leak only when running (fuel pump active - preseumed EFi and not carb), or when stationary/off?

That leak is the bike begging you to burn it and put it out of its misery
