Kelpi Shorty stainless exhaust and Blackout comfort seat for the XSR.

Absolutely no idea where it is though. They managed to get it to the UK in 2 days from despatch, but now it's in some kind of Customs/Parcelforce hell and has been for the last two weeks and I have absolutely no idea where it is or when I'll be getting it.

Evri gets a lot of stick but they have some deal with Heathrow and AliExpress. Most stuff they handle turns up in less than a week.

£10 a month for membership at a private clinic.

That gets me all the required appointments, any additional appointments with a consultant if I want and there are no additional costs for them writing prescriptions for me.

So now I have a prescription for cannabis. Laughing

They have a ridiculous number of strains to choose from as well as edibles, oils and vape cartridges, all of which are a lot cheaper than buying on the black market.

I used my two spare Audible credits for:
1. "Clothes ... and other things that matter", Alexandra Shulman (ex-editor of British Vogue)
2. "Be Useful: Seven Tools For Life", Arnold Schwarzenegger (who?).

Because what I really want is to listen to the entire 6+ hours of Arnold telling me what to do with my life, or Alexandra telling me why I should dress /better/. Rolling Eyes

Whenever I buy these audiobooks narrated by famous people, I usually find I suddenly can't stand the sound of their voice enough to listen to their autobiographies or homilies or whatever. I've still not listened to Dawn French, Miriam Margoyles and Sue Perkins because suddenly their voices got right on my tits.

Although I managed to listen to Martin Sheen (silky Wub ) and Emilio Estevez (you can tell from his voice they are related) talking about their father-son relationship.

Hopefully I'll listen to Arnold all the way through as well.
Even if I get a wank out of it before I get sick of it, I'll be happy. Shifty

Have you listened to Tom Baker's autobiography? There's a sex scene near the start Wink

Well I wouldn't want to be *overly* titillated, Arnold is quite enough to get my heart rate going for now Laughing ... but I'll look out for it.

My preferred Doctor Who is Matt Smith Wub

Took it out for the 1st time today.

It's a really nice bike (shades of Terminator 2 there).
Handles well, is very well behaved and predictable.
More than enough power for me.
I like the switchgear better than the Honda I traded in - less cluttered.

The wide panniers make getting on/off more tricky. I have to put it on the stand and stand on the pegs to swing my leg over. I'll work that one out I'm sure.

And I've not yet found out how to switch the heated seat on - 1st world problems!

MIght be my favourite bike yet.

One of the major pluses of my GT is the switches are so generic they may as well have been made by a company called "Consensus" Smile Major manufacturers always seem to want to do something clever or stylish with the mundane, e.g. swapping the indicator and horn buttons round Sad

Took a quick ride up to Gear Change in Scunthorpe and bought a pair of Dianese Scout 2 gloves.

https://gearchangeonline.com/collections/motorcycle-gloves/products/dainese-scout-2-unisex-goretex-gloves-black

My recent test ride in Noah's flood gave me the hint that my current 15+ year old leather gloves just weren't up to the job (still wet several days later) so I decided I needed more Gore-Tex in my life.

They didn't have the black&yellow in stock so I had to fork out £20 more for plain black!!

I bought one of those heavy duty weighted drying towels for the motor.
Hopefully it'll speed up the whole process.
