I always liked adding a bit of style to my loadouts in CS2, but gloves especially always seemed super expensive to me. After a bit of digging around on trading sites, I managed to snag a decent pair without blowing my budget, which honestly made matches feel that bit more personal. They don't really give you any advantage gameplay-wise, but I do get a kick out of seeing them each game. If you're trying to find affordable csgo gloves for your inventory, there are plenty of sites and resources that talk about good deals and tips for trading. That’s actually how I figured out where to look for mine.

It's been 13 years since I last played through GTA3 apparently...

It's slow going because I have so little time now with family so a few missions here and there is all I get a week. And none of that remastered crap.

Would like to then do VC and SA too. Last (and only) time I completed SA was in 2007 or 2008. Sad

Wolfenstein: The New Order
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Been playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein since it came out, managed to get it working on all new builds, but out of curiosity asked in search if there was a new release and found these. Although not new, the game and graphic updates are great.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - I enjoyed the films but given how much it would have cost to pay those actors for motion capture and voice work this is based on the comic books Wink

The game consists of lots of story, some navigation puzzles and combat... TBH the combat's a slog. One of the few games I've switched to "easy" just to try and get past it quicker. You have five team members to control and fire off well timed power moves but it's way too much to keep track of with my feeble brain. It's almost the same combat mechanic as Dragon Age: Veilguard but there you only had three ppl to control. Still, Veilguard's story was so terrible I gave up on the game whereas GotG is very well written albeit probably aimed at a younger audience.

Overall you can tell a lot of effort was put into it. It might take you an hour or more just to get through the end credits!

Blast from the past: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

From the era of GTA:V, it looks surprisingly good on modern hardware. It's also a cracking example of what AAA+ gaming used to be with full voice acting and motion capture and more guns than that scene from the Matrix Smile

I do like games that let you make your own mind up as to how to approach any given task. It's very rare the game railroads you... outside of "don't kill the child soldiers in Africa" Shocked Sometimes you sneak in like a ghost and other times you let loose with a mini-gun Very Happy

I do indeed.
I also found out why it was so cheap. It has a glitch.

Supraworld, early access version, only Act I at the moment.

It's more of the same superbly designed type of game as Supraland, SIU etc, with puzzles/secrets to solve/find in seeming every nook and cranny of a relatively small area ... fantastic.

completed Midnight suns, which i thought was really good 8/10.

im now playing Tiny Tinas wonderlands, which is better than i thought it would be, following after the massive disappointment that was Borderlands 3.

Axiom Verge 2 flumoxed me when I first downloaded it on the PS4 a few years ago.
I'm revisiting it on the PS5 and I've got further than before for some reason.

Return to Dark Souls 3.

I tried playing the DS1 remaster but it still looks wank and the mechanics felt off so I fired up DS3 again. Throw in some graphical upgrade mods and you have a fast paced game with high FPS that probably looks ~80% as good as Elden Ring visuals.

Playing as Bernie the Pyromancer, I'm quite proud of myself: after reading a few combat guides to refresh my memory I managed to kill Gundyr (the first boss) on my first attempt!

Still got it Smile

I had a similar issue last summer and ended up flogging a few csgo skins to cover part of the repair costs. Was surprised how much decent ones can go for. Might be worth checking what yours are worth if you've got any lying around unused.

Finished playing Hollow Knight ... as in it's not my type of game, I was just going over the same bits over and over again.

I even downloaded Lumafly to give me infinite life/jumps, and now that I can effectively go anywhere I want, I don't feel the urge to!

I bought Silksong on release day antcipating playing it after HK, needless to say I got a refund.

Just one of those games which didn't click with me Sad

Completed Dark Souls 3. Some of the main game bosses weren't as hard as I remembered, did I git gud? However, the Ringed City bosses were another matter entirely. I slogged through Slave Knight Gael and Darkeater Midir before the end game boss Soul of Cinder and TBH the latter was a complete pushover in comparison.

Having another little dabble with Elden Ring. It does look nice after DS3 (which has perfectly acceptable graphics). I did try the "Convergence" mod but it seems a bit over done. "Reforged" does a lot less but seems very polished. Might get bored of the new ducking mechanic.

PC version. Threw a load of 4K texture mods and ReShade at it. I thought it looked very nice... until I fired up Elden Ring Smile We're very spoilt these days.
