Not that it makes the slightest difference as I’m colourblind!

I bought lunch for my ex and his bird in the hospital canteen.

They were a pleasingly cheap date: he was not in his usual meat-eating form and only wanted coffee - and she (semi-veggie) had a jacket-p with cheese.

Dance!

I had venison lasagne, fucking yum.

Silk glove liners (Jasmine Silk and Trekmates brands via Amazon). I’ve used them for years to avoid irritation from my usual Alpinestars outer ‘race’ gloves that can lead to eczema if you’re prone to it like me. Also theoretically to increase warmth in Winter (I’m not sure if they do that) and they wick away sweat and make it easier to remove outer gloves on hot days. Eventually they become ragged and they hole at the fingertips. I’m also trying two brands of Merino wool glove liners, also from Amazon.

A monitor. Samsung 49" OLED ultrawide, 240 Hz 5120x1440 resolution. I don't usually get all wet but for a nerd like me the monitor is amazing for my sim racing.

Never seen a monitor that big off the shelf. Dare I ask how much that cost?

I bought it off ebay second hand for a lot less than that price though. It was either this monitor or 3x32" cheaper monitors but then you need fancy monitor stands. Glad I got this.

Sim Racing in VR is literally unbelievable, everyone should try it at some point. You feel like your sitting in the car. I have Occulus Rift S. Only trouble is the weight and sweating, generally uncomfortable for a long stint of racing.
