Honda VRX400 engine number assist please

Got a (what I believe) was a VRX400 engine but not so sure now. The engine number is NC25E-1603094 and would appreciate any assist in finding out what bike this engine (about 1996) was fitted to.

Think there used to be a Honda publication drifting around up to 2000 that detailed this but the NC25E variant was fitted to a number of different models.

Even suggestions as to how to progress this search would be welcomed. At the end of the day I'm looking to rebuild this so need both parts and the Holy of Holies a Service Manual with torque settings etc etc.

Thanks in Advance to anybody who can help.

Its not a BROS400 engine, likely to be a VT400 Shadow by the shape of it and the cooling fins.
