One of my sons has his Mod2 tomorrow, coming from A2.

He's lost his Mod1 certificate we've tried phoning the DVSA or he has without success , Christmas I guess.

We do have a scan of the certificate and the test is at the same centre for his Mod1.

We're just going to turn up and see, worst case is he'll need to do Mod1 again.

We've literally spent 7 hours searching and it was in a purple folder ffs. We are now wondering if he left it at the test centre when he last tried to get his Mod2.

Anyone been through this scenario?

Obviously not end of world as he's still A2.[/img]

According to the website, you have to bring the physical Mod 1 certificate.

https://www.gov.uk/motorcycle-test/module-2-onroad-test

I think you can get a duplicate of the MOD1 certificate, so he shouldn't have to do the test again, but obviously you need to have organised that in advance of your MOD2

Turn up, and hope for a sympathetic examiner.

Thanks all got sorted, arrived nice and early and the centre were able to contact whomever and confirm.

He's very lucky, he passed also. Mod1 will probably turn up tomorrow.
