There one minute, gone the next ...

I was up in Glasgow on Friday for a works Christmas lunch, even though I retiredfrom there 4 years ago ... while I was there I thought I'd drop in and visit an old friend.

Couldn't get into the building at first because of door entry system, and couldn't remember his flat number, but luckily a lovely lady let me in.

He eventually answered the door and in I went for a good few hours of catch-up, really enjoyed just talking about everything under the sun (including pyramids) ... he'd not changed a bit, well apart from getting a lot older, now 82.

Come Monday and I did a search on the web for him, only to find out he'd passed away between Friday and Sunday ... totally shocked, still can't believe he's gone.

Lenny Reynolds, one of the original Blue Angels, a great friend who'll be missed ... ride free mate.
