Following on from a previous thread in the workshop, long story short.
My missus has had a CBR125r for 3 years with no running issues (she dropped it numerous times but it still ran), I have ragged the arse off that bike numous times with no issues.
Her son offered to buy it and started riding it after doing his CBT, (at this point I should say he hasn't paid a penny towards buying the bike).
Around 3 weeks in to him riding the bike it was totally dead, (I came home and found him trying to bump start it). Him and a biker mechanic buddy messed around with the bike and couldn't get it running, I bridged the starter relay and it started instantly.
He's bawling his eyes out about how much it's going to cost to repair, saying it's not his fault etc.
I may be able to fix it, first off I can't be arsed with the cold weather repairs, (I've got my own bikes to fix and can't be bothered until the weather improves), and I didn't break it so why should I fix it.
Basically my wife is losing out on around £1800 on her 125 because her son offered to buy it, he broke it and is sticking to the "I dint do nuffin bruv" BS.
Should I leave him to fix it as a lesson, or should I fix it so my missus might start sucking my willy again, (that's a joke for all the youngsters), should I fix it so that she can get some money back on the bike |
