Dunno. I think WE (Britain) were the Roman empire. Which kind of slowly collapsed under its own weight and fractured. So is this the dark ages of religious intolerance and petty empire building?

Hopefully then there comes an enlightenment?

I'm NOT that surprised nobody kicked back on this post.

The Romans (clues in the name) were from Italy, the UK was invaded by the Romans, (except Scotland) and became a vasal state of Rome like many others in europe.

The Roman Empire lasted ~400 years, the British Empire lasted barely ~100 years, so the Romans weren't too stupid.

The USA Empire is coming up to ~100 years, and is already showing signs of fatigue.

My money is on Israel being the next super power, as they already have (using the CIA) the US and EU, and are quickly mopping up the countries around them, maybe after/if they can dispose of the China and Russia alliance.

Without US dollars Israel is going nowhere, an isolationist US will not have the means will to bankroll Israels imperialist designs.
If you want to put money on superpowers, China is not going away any time soon and India has more clout that most give them credit for.

India seems like a place that could take on the World if only they were more organised.

With regards to repeating history, the fall of 'Murica parallels the fall of the Roman Republic. And what happened after that, boys and girls?

So there I was on Youtube and a clip from the 'Joe Rogan Experience' with Jimmy Carr from 2 years ago suggesting that America was paralleling the fall of the Roman empire.

Just doing a little research on Greenland.

I was interested to find that of the four countries which are closer to Greenland than the USA is, the UK is number 3...

Geopolitical Hallucinations, we're doomed.

Trump started off being good for a laugh, now he's become quite dangerous.
