You can restrict most bikes to 33bhp. You'd be better off going for a 600. Parts are more readily available and you have something to look forward to after 33bhp.

my NC30 runs fine on 33bhp restrictors, the power output is excactly ther same upto 11000rpm as my mates whos full power.

The Honda CB1 is 33bhp exactly I think, so if thats the case, theres no need for the restrictors.

I've got a 250 with less than 33bhp, it is very very boring. Sad Fun to ride all the same but boring.

Theres quite a few decent 250s around like RGV, KR1-S, TZR, NSR. Most of those make around 40-60bhp. I know the KR1-S makes 59bhp. Thats the most powerful there. They are rapid too, KR1-S has a top speed of 136mph, that canes the ZXR400 top speed of 125mph lmao.

i would have thought a standard bike that has 33bhp (a bros mite so ive may have herd)

surely it will run cleaner than a 'choked' bigger bike

jus the upgradeablity is poor

All these bikes are 2T's though, and are crap when restricted.

Honda Bros 400 is good, as is the CB1. Yamaha SRX400 is a good thumper, SR500 is old fashion kick started beast but is an ok bike. MZ 250/251/300/301s are cheap and reliable if ugly, Suzuki GN400 is a pleasant bike.

Of course this assumes you are going to honour your restriction Wink
