Bike is due for insurance renewal in a few months time, but one thing I'm not sure about is the bikes value. Obviously the value will affect the premium price. The bike is a BMW GS1250 Adventure with hard luggage, bought new on a 23 plate with 19K miles on the clock. What's it worth? I've seen bikes similar at around the £15,500 mark. I know there is a big drop in value from new, but I'm not sure by how much.

I'm not as sure at that end of the spectrum, but for my bikes the value you give makes absolutely no difference to the premium.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

From claiming for my Jaguar being written off, any value I said made absolutely no difference to what they offered me for payment. I could have said it was worth a million quid, tough shit, your getting 10 grand.

on Ebay you have the option to see how much items have sold for.
search your year/model using this function.
i understand that bike sales are quite poor at the moment.

Motorbicycle ownership is bloody expensive. I just got my bike insurance documents in the post this week. I forgot about it and they just renewed automatically so I didn't even have a chance to try and find anything cheaper. Turns out my motorcycle insurance runs at just a tad under £1.08 per week. Did I mention it's tax exempt too? I don't know how I can afford this shit.
