His sexual predator status didn’t concern the law but the moment he’s exposed as some sort of insider trader he’s arrested. You don’t go up against the money men and get away with it.

It's not insider trading, it was sharing information as a trade envoy which he shouldn't have, it was privileged government information from a job that he was paid to do which is what makes it 'misconduct in public office'. He was working for the country, not Epstein, therefore shouldn't have shared the information
He also wasn't reported by the money men, he was reported by the anti-Monarchy campaign group Republic.

Don't make it into some deep state conspiracy, Republic were very open about what they did.

That’s a long-winded way of saying “some sort of insider trading.” He was using privileged information for financial gain, even if it wasn’t his own. My point was crime against the person seems to be being treated with less seriousness than financial crime. The accuser doesn’t decide that, the prosecutor does.
