Hey all, Not a new user but my old account got banned for posting dating sites.. why on earth someone would take the account to post that here is a mystery.. but anyway.

I was recently hit head on at a junction, Dipshit cut the corner.

I not long finished fixing up the damage to the front end and also had to fit a new exhaust. Its one for the standard YBR and not the Custom but they have the same engine.

I think my issues are due to the exhaust.

I used to be able to get up to 65mph with ease and then slowly get up to 68-70mph but now the bike seems to hit a wall at 60mph and just wont get past it.

Is it the exhaust or could there be something else going on? And can it be fixed/sorted?

Thanks!

What sort of front end damage? Maybe the brake sticking?

With regards to the exhaust, how much have you replaced? Just the end can or the whole system? Is the old exhaust/system in a usable state that you can put it back on as a test?

Front forks bent. I changed the forks, new tyre new top/bottom yolk.

I only changed the exhaust as mine was rusted and the crash caused a hole to appear down by the foot peg. I can put it back on and plug the hole with some putty just for testing.

Its full exhaust. Just an ebay special. I dont think its an OEM at the price i paid but an aftermarket to look stock.

The front break is not sticking either and nor is the back. Bike had to have an MOT done after since it was a cat n write off. Passed.

I might stick the old one on tomorrow just to check what happens.
