Let you tell you about my day

- New rear tyre, £80. (Not properly scrubbed in Rolling Eyes Embarassed )
- Getting bored at lunch and buying a pair of leather trousers, £140
- Knee sliders, £20
- Finding a nice quiet roundabout, Free

- Getting my knee down for the first time, Priceless Laughing Thumbs Up
I feel so chuffed

now Gazdaman's not the only one why can get their knee down on a XJ Laughing

45 degrees feels like 90, i thought mine were quite high til i saw pics, getting them a bit higher now tho, doesnt do chain and sprockets, clutch, head bearings, forkseals and rear tyres any good tho Laughing

Why don't people jsut buy metal ones? The type to create lots of sparks? Are they expensive or soemthing? Just seems like it would be much better. Very Happy

You dont buy titanium ones because they can catch and and pull your leg back when sparkies are plastic with titanium pieces on them not as much sparks but slide better.

I wear full titanium one's and think they're great. They never catch at all, can't really see why they should, unless you hit a patch of glue or something... Rolling Eyes Very Happy

My plastic sliders are starting to grab a bit now, it's a little scary.

and yes, full titanium ones need you to sell a kidney to buy.

£40 in HG!!

I'm not paying £40 for that, even if it does look pretty.
