Stadler Motorcycle Suit – Jacket Size 52 / Trousers 34” Short Leg – Good Condition

Selling my Stadler motorcycle suit in good condition, as I’ve now bought a bespoke suit.

This is probably the best off-the-shelf motorcycle gear money can buy. Stadler is extremely high-end kit, made in Europe using premium materials, and the manufacturer offers a 10-year warranty on the manufacture of its products.

It has been washed regularly using the correct cleaning products and procedure for Gore-Tex motorcycle clothing, so it has been properly looked after.

I’ve used this suit in torrential rain on the motorway for over 2 hours and it kept me completely bone dry.

The jacket uses Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer laminate construction, with Cordura 500 for durability and SuperFabric panels on the shoulders and elbows for very high abrasion resistance.

Because it is a laminated Gore-Tex Pro shell, the outer layer does not soak up water in the same way as non-laminated textiles, so it stays lighter in heavy rain and dries quickly.

Safety is a major strength of this jacket. It is Level AA approved and has CE Level 2 Sas-Tec armour in the shoulders, elbows and back.

The shoulder and elbow protectors are Type B Level 2, meaning they are the larger-size armour pieces rather than the smaller Type A protectors often found in many jackets. It is also prepared for Stadler chest protection.

The Air Pipe System and large waterproof ventilation system work really well in summer, helping move air through the jacket and keep you cool, while still giving you proper waterproof laminated Gore-Tex protection when the weather turns.

Another benefit of buying Stadler is that, if you’re unfortunate enough to have a spill, the suit can be sent back to Stadler for inspection and repair. They are known for repairing their kit at very reasonable prices, which is a big advantage over cheaper motorcycle clothing that often has to be replaced.

Other jacket features include waterproof YKK Aquaseal zips, reflective markings, removable thermal lining, mesh lining, long connection zip, tank protection and adjustment at the waist and hem.

The trousers are also premium laminated Gore-Tex Pro Shell touring trousers, with Cordura, stretch panels for comfort and large areas of SuperFabric abrasion-resistant material.

They have Level 2 armour, large waterproof thigh vents with Aquaseal zips, a removable thermal liner, waist and internal volume adjusters, coccyx protection and connecting zips.

This is a proper four-season touring suit: waterproof, protective, very well ventilated for summer use and ideal for UK riding conditions.
