Which Ultra?

I've been a loyal (Samsung) Galaxy S20 ultra guy for the last 7/8 years, and the newer models really don't appear to me to be better specced overall, but I do need something better.

I'm on my 4th iteration now (putting my original board in alternate handsets) and I'm *sure* something is terminally wrong, it's started really lagging, the mobile/5g signal is shocking everywhere - to the point I need to be on WIFI to actually get any meaningful data transfer, and the screen has slowly began not responding.

So.. anyone on here got trustworthy reviews of the 23/24 Ultra? Or potentially better suggestions?

As much as I liked Samsung, the UI has gone to shit. My work phone is an S24 and my personal one has been a fold 7.

Im going back to Google Pixel when this phone shits itself. I really cant get over how jank this UI is and the Samsung bloatware is just eh

I've got the S22 Ultra, bought it new in Dec 2022 and it's been pretty pukka. I put a new battery in a couple of weeks ago which has given it a new lease on life, no plans to 'upgrade' right now.
