Ok, over the last few weeks i've been trying to find out why my scooter is bogging down ans spluttering out when I go to pull away from the lights. I have to blip the throttle loads to get the revs to build up before it will pull away.

Now i've had:

New Spark plug
New drive belt
Cleaned carb out
New clutch
New rollers.

Any other ideas what it could be. My mixture is also bang on. (Brown plug)

Forgot to mention those.

About 1000 miles ago it had a full engine rebuild.
Last month I got a new K&N filter.
Yes it does have 2 stroke. Laughing
I don't think it has an oil leak. Rolling Eyes

try sum gasket paste between the reed block and manifold

and check the reeds arnt chipped or slightly damaged, or worn through

Might be your pilot system / needle, brown plug only really reflects you main jetting, not the pilot/needle

you can change the needle aswell to different thickness and grades - it all plays a role in the setting up of a carb, main jet, pilot jet, needle shape, attomiser, slide, idle screw and mixture
