Super Sausage Cafe (nr Towcester)

Quite a few there but still plenty of seating. Really friendly staff. Clean toilets.
£11 for the Cumberland Hotdog & £2 for a brew.

Bit of a long slog down the M1 but I'd definitely go again.

Yesterday I went on a ride on the Street Triple with my other half on her ER6N. We went up to Reading and around, then up to H's cafe near Wallingford, and then back across to Wantage where there is a great and very empty road going to Newbury. We then rode back towards Reading along a back route we know, and then back to our place via further back roads. Very little town riding, no motorway. Just about bearable temperature wise, but you could feel the bikes were happy on the good tarmac. We did encounter a fair few potholes in the Oxfordshire area, and some roads were a weird colour with mud or some other contaminant on them and I didn't want to push too hard on those.

It was a beautiful day, and it was the best ride I've been on in ages.

Thursday afternoon, I and the backpack (the mrs lol) rode from South Wales to Amesbury, friday we rode from there to Nothe Fort at Weymouth, then after a look round, back to the hotel at Amesbury...Saturday was a walk from Woodhenge to Stonehenge, then a ride into Salisbury proper for my Uncle's wake.
Sunday, rode back to Wales...Nice weather all round and a nice run for the bandit.

Went out with a mate to a classic bike show at Battlesbridge, which was a bit shit to be honest, and I'd always wanted to see Greensted Church in Ongar as it's not that far from me and it's apparently the oldest wooden church still standing in the world.
