Fair price?

Going to sell the old FZ6, but wondered what you all thought would be a fair asking price for it.

It's a 2003 600 Fazer FZ6. No mot. Engine was running fine before being parked up a couple of years ago, but won't run now without firing EasyStart into the airbox, so probably just a fuel/injector issue. Body is tatty in places, but overall not too bad.

So, what do you think is a good price for it?

Honestly as it stands it's spares or repair money, no MOT and needing easystart to fire puts most buyers off. If the injectors clean up and it runs properly though you're in a different bracket. I'd throw a weekend at the fuelling first, might be worth nearly double.

Tbh, i really don't know if i can be arsed. I just want it gone. Might just advertise it as it is for a few hundred, and if i get it running in the meantime up the price. Cheers!

I bought my wife track bike, the same as your, as an insurance right off that was running and had an MOT for £175. TBH, yourd, I would be looking at it as free if I pick it up.

Sorry but at best a few quid unless you can be arsed to strip it for bits.

Mileage at the last MOT was nearly 16k, so it's not going to be much more than that i think.

I don't think i'll bother with trying to get it running tbh, if i had more time and space maybe. It's probably just clogged injectors, or a throttle problem as it was quite stiff, but again, haven't really time to have a proper go at it.
