After an awful lot of faff, i finally got an OBD2 reader to work with my '08 Striple a couple of years ago. It seems now though that TuneECU doesn't work with Windows anymore and is now strictly Android only.

I tried connecting to my 2017 Striple recently, and although i have about 7 readers, none of them will work with it. Think it might have to be a bluetooth one..?

Does anyone know an OBD2 reader that definitely works with TuneECU?

I'm getting sick of seeing the bloody overdue service reminder and just want it gone!

Thanks!

I got one of these:

https://www.lonelec.com/product/tune-ecu-kkl-interface-cable-lead-for-triumph-motorcycles/

It works with TuneECU on and Android tablet, connecting to a 2015 Triumph Sprint GT. I had to pay for a license, as it's not free like the Windows one.

Ok, cheers markpc. I'll order one and hope it works, and not just increase my Useless OBD2 Reader collection Smile

I've just brought a cable and installed TuneECU on my android but not got round to using it yet, for my 2008 Tiger 1050.

Just one point to note when I was looking into all this, the 2008 only works with a cable connection - not bluetooth. Bluetooth only works for later models, like 2012 onwards or something like that.

Before you buy another cable, check TuneECU actually supports the 2017 765 ecu. That generation changed the ecu and a lot of people find it simply isn't on the supported list, which would explain why none of your seven readers see it. If that's the case the service reminder only clears dealer side, not the reader.
