Also bought a ratchet cutter for slicing plastic pipe after making a total botch job with a junior hacksaw.

It does a good job but does slightly deform the pipe (no real problem getting it circular again).

I do have one for cutting trunking but that's aimed more at square section stuff.

Looking for more plumbing tools last night I came across this circular cutter from Knipex:

I went to Aldi ( or was it Lidl? I can't tell the difference... )
... anyway - its not my usual place of shopping, but as its next to my GP surgery, so I occasionally stop in there.

Last time they had some very nice little Italian sausages with fennel, and they were extremely nice - they made fantastic authentic pasta sauce like my mother in law used to make.

So I thought I would stop and get some more this morning. But today they had the same sausages - only with rosemary. Even better! So I bought two packets of 8.

However, on the way out I went past the Dept of Food Bank and decided to leave one of my packs of Italian snaggies in there for someone else to enjoy.

I'm afraid I tend to be rather random in my FoodBanking habits, but I try to make sure that if I do put in some items, I put in something of really nice quality, cos I once lived in a womens refuge and was ridiculously grateful to receive a Christmas box with all sorts of things that I wouldn't normally have wanted to buy, but which somehow mattered that people had provided these "special treats".

What does the pharmacist ask when you request it?
And were you allowed to say "Oh I'm just gonna put some oil in my motorbike..."?

Cos I'm thinking if they say "What do you want it for?"
And I say "Cos I wanna inject some weedkiller ..."
... that there is gonna be some raised eyebrows.



*for the record I almost never get zits, even as a teenager I was comparatively un-spotty, how does one "make" a zit happen when you are no longer an adolescent?
