My RX does the exact same unless I rev the nuts out of my 5th gear. Can't help you really but maybe there is someone who can.

Hi, it is a sign that your engine is lacking power.

All down to gear ratios really as in 5th it is easier for your engine to pull your weigh, rather than in 6th gear.

There are a number of options, your exhaust could be clogged up with carbon, your engine could be worn or you could simply be overweight Laughing

When was the bike last serviced?

Cheers
Paul

Okkies. With the assumption that you are running standard gear ratios, you're either lacking power or have extra resistance somewhere.

Check that the brakes are not binding and the wheel bearings are not on the way out.

If its not that, check that the sparkplug is screwed in fully and its not too worn.

If thats fine pull the reed valves out and check that they're not chipped or lost tension.

If everything else is good, you're going to have to pull the topend off and check the rings / head gasket. If they're fine it could be your crank seals.
