A mate has just acquired this bike and needs to know what it is, any ideas? obviously its an AJS but what year and what model and a value? If you have a wealth of information to offer I'll pass on his phone number to you, likewise if you have spare parts.
IT IS NOT FOR SALE!!

Tell him to join the jampot (AJS & Matchless owners club).

My old bean has the Matchless G3LS, the same bike but in Matchless name. If it is the 350cc.

The engine number starts with 52/16M does this mean it is a 1952 16m model?

Conpants, lets have a photo of your 80 year old bike then? I bet it's plastic and comes from Japan and dont look a day over 5........ mine are all plastic rockets, old bikes suck balls and leak oil.
