Aww that sucks! Sad

But! with the money you save on petrol in the next six weeks, you could put that towards something tarty for your bike, so you'll have even more to look forward to when you can finally ride it again Smile

or i could just be quiet because that's a poor attempt at trying to cheer you up...

Sorry to hear that bud, but TBH I reckon you be back on the road in around two weeks.

I did the same to my ankle in Jan. Its still swollen now and a little sore. I couldnt get out of bed for ten days then I had another three or four days hobbling round on crutches. Soon as I could I was straight back on my bike. Was pretty painful, could only do short trips and would have to rest often but it was well worth it. Smile

I am having physio for a damaged medial ligament in my right knee at the moment. I rode my bike to the physio last week.

I was riding with a broken finger a few months ago.
I sprained my ankle a few years ago and was on crutches for 2 weeks.
I have been told a bad sprain is often worst than a break but I bet your on the bike in less than 6 weeks.

sorry to hear about your leg Karma , but remember

bikes will still be there, dont rush back into it, get your leg sorted first

did a PCL myself, its not nice, and my knee will never be as strong as it was, so make sure you do all you can in the early stages to get it back to how it was Thumbs Up

How long has it taken for you to recover?

Get on it the sooner the better. I was back on within a week of getting the pot off my arm, and even had a go with the pot on. I doubt the throttle action working as physiotherapy excuse might not wash in your case though. Laughing

Chin up, get back on the bike as soon as you're able, you'll be thankful for it, even if only for short careful trips. Thumbs Up
