if i were you i would look round a lot more insurers than that little list.......

prices can vary massively from company to company....

eg for my current bike there was as much as a £600 difference in price

Hello,

There doesn't appear to be one specific cheapest insurance company, some can be cheaper than others but it all depends on the circumstances e.g. age, location, experience, bike etc..

Your best bet is to buy a copy of MCN and call every insurance company/broker and see what deal you can get, then get the lowest two and see if you can play them off against each other.

This is what I did and I managed to get my insurance for my R6 down to £129. Well worth the three hours of ringing around!

Also some where on here White noise did a spread sheet which is quite helpful, download it and print it off.

Good luck

I've attached that file, brilliant top stuff Thumbs Up
Me personally found Virgin to be cheapest but as said, not one specific insurance company is better than another.

None of them for me either.

I went with simply insurance uk who gave me a stupidly low quote of £689 for my CBR600F sport, everyone else was quoting me around £2000. Just ring around and you should be able to find something good.

You have to ring round! Loads of people said Bennetts was expensive and they gave me the second lowest quote! Motorcycle Direct won though. Cool

It really does depend on our age and location as different insurers have different policies on these things. For me Bennetts was the cheapest but ring around!
