I know this isn't a bunny forum but I thought it was worth a go. I've decided that I'd like to rehome my rabbit to someone who will give her all the love and attention she needs.

I posted about a month ago in offtopic chat about methods of taming her. It's not that this has been unsucessful, but rather than I don't have time and it's not fair on poor bunnykins. I'm moving house this coming weekend, to a house with no garden so apart from letting her hop around in the yard I don't think it's fair to deny her of this.

She is a nice rabbit - ok, so she bit me a while ago, but it's because she hasn't had enough attention which I admit is my fault. She loves being able to hop around and she does have an inquisitive character. In the right environment she would make a great pet.

The hutch, food bowl, water bottle etc will of course be provided as well. The hutch needs a good hose out when summer comes along but is otherwise in good condition. She would need collecting and I will be in Stoke-on-Trent as of this weekend.

I will be upset about seeing her go, but at the end of the day if there is someone on BCF who can give this rabbit a better life than I can then please PM me.

On a serious note and not taking the piss I may be interested, as a pet as well, the rabbit will not be cooked.

Will catch you on MSN later or something, I just need to harass someone to pick her up and I'll tame her with my magic wand. Wink

Classic. On A serious note you could always advertise locally i.e. pet stores, local papers, etc..There are always similar adverts in my local rag, I should know I deliver 'em Mr. Green

Good luck finding her a home, seems like a tidy pet.

Making a pie out of it would be too boring.

Shaun, feed it up, bring it to Gav's BBQ and find some way of spit roasting it over a BBQ. Razz

That means you'll need to get some other pets to eat the mice. Have a look on AdTrader.co.uk in their "Other Pets" section and the "Reptiles & Fish" section. You can get lots of different snakes and tarantulas. Smile

Bit expensive though, £100 for a 5 foot female rainbow boa, £200 for a 6 foot Coastal Carpet Python, £250 for a 8 foot Texas rat snake male or £50 Brazilian white kneed tarantula which would "suit experienced owner as he will grow very large" so sounds ideal for eating unwanted mice. Smile

How you stop the rabbit from being eaten is a slight problem but I'm sure it could be dealt with. Razz
