Elvington is on this weekend.

A last chance to drag race this year.

Get your arses up there and give it your best shot. You know you want to.

And not content with finding out how good you and yours are down the 1/4, you then get the chance to keep the throttle wide open for another mile and a half to see how fast you can get from your bike flat out through the speed traps.

Awesome.

Elvington is on the outskirts of York.

The drag racing is on this Sunday, 17th November.

Last time it was fiver in and about 25 quid to race all day as many runs as you can fit in. Bikes racing only, no cars (I think).

be it a minimoto or a gold wing, as long as it passes scrutineering (nothing too heavy, just making sure your bike is safe) you can chuck it down the strip.

Do it once and you will be hooked.

I will be the one test riding my mates Turbo'd ZX12R so come and say hello if you see me.

See you there... Cool Very Happy

TAKE A SICKY, DUDES! Laughing

It's the last one of the year!

Your bikes will make it ok, they will pass scrutineering I am sure and even if they don't it is still a great day out and a good spectator sport.

Way too many weird and unusual bikes to gawp at!

Oh yerwill yerwill yerwill yerwill yerwill yerwill... Sad

This will be the first Elvington that I have missed in about 2 years with Lucky. He is on his way down there now by himself and Im stuck here having to work tomorrow and miss what could be his biggest run yet. I wanted to be there when he cracked 200mph Very Happy (Yes I am quietly confident and bias) Wink

Elvington is FAB and I am really gutted that Lucky has had to go without me. Crying or Very sad If your reading this at FK's house Lucky good luck for tomorrow and dont get too drunk tonight. Razz
