Went out for a ride and on the way back I saw a screw in the middle of the road as I was approaching a roundabout had little time to react as I noticed too late now its imbedded right in the middle of the front tyre considering I was going to replace it anyway because of the deflation issue I had (see previous thread)
can somone tell me how much I'm looking at to get it replaced? inc labour costs? i got quoted £70!! inc fitting

lol, i ran over a drill bit once, riding through town. I was on my way to get the bike MOT'd, turned up and they checked my tyres as you do, and there was this drill bit there, it had entered from the top, burst through the side-wall and put a chip into my wheel, without me noticing or deflating the tyre lol
I just got a new tyre for my Gs500 and that was around the £70 mark including fitting. ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...

Sounds about right to me.
I can get charged up to £100 inc fitting for a tyre on the ER5.
Removing the wheel yourself and carrying it in will save you about a tenner. ____________________ Like a Yorkie - I'm not for the girls |
