Seriously, you're looking at £30 tops for that lot, it really is 2nd-hand low-spec tat.

HalfLife 2 on that must run like a Powerpoint presentation.. Rolling Eyes

I can get the following spec, brand-new, boxed, warrantied:

Gigabyte GA7vm400M-RZ SKT A - £27.97
AMD Sempron 2400+ - £34.93
Crucial 512mb DDR Memory - £37.99
ATI Radeon 9200SE 128MB DDR - £24.67
Total - £125.56

Ignoring the extra £25 for the gfx card you're "generously" throwing if for free, that's all new stuff - at twice the spec for the same price.

Why the fuck would anyone pay £100 for your pile of spare parts?

See up the top there? It says "Exchange and Mart", not "Blatant Rip-Offs".

With due respect to all parties.

I don't see the problem here, he can advertise whatever he wants at whatever price he wants, its simple, if you don't want it, don't buy it, and if you'd like it, but aren't prepared to pay that price make him an offer. Thumbs Up

This is simply free trade.

Yeah but if something is very overpriced, it should be known, otherwise people would take advantage.

Are those trade prices? It's been a long time since I was into (and could afford) the latest hardware pieces for my computer/s.

They're not trade prices, they're at www.ebuyer.co.uk - ok, I "forgot" to include VAT, so add £17.50 for Gordon Brown.

The point is, I didn't have to look very hard to find £100 worth of new kit of far superior spec, so you have to wonder if the OP (who's just bought himself some new kit, so he must know the current prices) is deliberately overpricing his cast-offs and relying on some mug not to check what it's really worth.

This is bazza, for BBC Watchdog, back to the studio...

I dont wish to sound rude here but i do not like the fact that you "suppose" I deliberately overpriced my stuff It is my birthday sunday so my dad gave me my presents early(new guts) I have no idea of the cost of these things and I take great offence to the fact that you think I am waiting for a "mug" to buy it.

Regard's

Bazza. Why on earth would anyone want to buy an ATI 9200 Se? Not to put inside a pc tower surely! I might use it as a door wedge but never to display a picture with!

I think you're going a bit over the top there, even if it is a bit overpriced. It would still run plenty of things, hell I've got a lower spec system running XP Crying or Very sad It's not worth £100 that's for sure, but he did say offers as well. Not all of us are PC experts, if this poor guy isn't, how would he know the depreciation in value of these parts? You can't find them anywhere (save eBay). IMO you'd do well to get that for much less from a computer shop.

Honestly I think you're being a bit of an arsehole about this' if you'd read his description it said the new bits were bought for him, and it sounds to me like you're just spoiling for a fight.

Hey Rookie. I'm not spoiling for a fight. I (like you) was putting forward my opinion. This is a forum after all. If anyone is an asshole, look in the mirror my old son and buy a proper pc

I was illustrating what brand new kit you could get for the same money.

Personally, I don't use/buy ATI stuff on principle.
