Yesterday the police were up at school, in the carpark, giving away packs of alpha dots to anyone who wanted them for our peds and the 6th formers' cars. They even filled in the forms and applied the dots in a few places!

I was quite impressed, I've seen the kits being sold for quite a bit before... they're the type with little tiny metal dots with a code on them, which can apparently be tracked and scanned using PIN machine or something.. They stick on with a clear lacquer.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions where to put the rest of the dots... I want to put some on my exhaust somewhere, but I'm afraid the glue-type solution will melt. Any ideas?

Also has anyone else had this happen to them? Nice to see the police helping us out now and again Smile

Jon

Shocked That was nice of them. I would think they would peel off the exhaust. Stick them on the inside of your fairings. Thumbs Up

How annoying! I paid £15 just to get the Alphadot registered in my name from the previous owner! Admin fees are expensive aren't they? Mad

I got mine free with the bike, and the guy at suzuki fitted them for me, for free Razz

it shows you were to put them on the leaflet, pehaps the website may be of some help.

Steve.

Sucker - I didn't even bother. Laughing I wrote my name in the form and then thought "fuck this" I'm not paying £12 to change it. So didn't bother. Razz

Jonnay - Nice one, you're a lucky bugger getting one. I wouldn't mind one for the next bike Confused
