The most you have ever paid for a bike?

I was just curious as to what the most anyone on here has ever paid for a bike?

my first bike was a (2001) scooter - £300

Then Honda NSR (99) - £700

Now Kawasaki ZXR400H1 (89) - £350
was in a bit of a state when i got it though

Bikes are large part in most peoples happiness on this site so i just wondered whats the most you have ever paid for your Happinnes (a Bike)

I paid £2000 for my NSR125 and sold it with double the mileage + 2 crashes for £1800 to a dealer.

Yamaha R6 (1999) was £3000

Ducati 748 (1999) was £3700

350 quid on my 50, well worth it because its a bullet proof Honda and I paid 260 for my RD, which I think was pretty good, even though it needed a lot of work, which I'm doing now. Fully restored RD125LC ready to come soon people!

unfortunately 2500 on a brand new 50cc bike, if I'd have thought I'd have brought one second hand - I didn't want to have many problems though - but that turned into the complete oposite!

some times esp with italian 2t it seems like a lottery

ive know 4 people + me with RS125's

they did nasty things irrevent of ages or miles or use by there owners

the one who rode the least had the most hassle

yet the oldest bike was the most reliable
