I rode mine so fast that when I woke up the next day it was actually the day before I had set off. Bloody relativity.

About 60/65 mph on my restricted 03 Dt 125.

RS 125's de-restricted only do about 100mph (if you're light), most people get around 90mph from what i have read/been told, so to be honest i think you're talking crap.

Feel free to prove us wrong with a video though, i hear speed guns are pretty cheap and more accurate then a speedo so thats one option. Neutral

Or you could have been going down a hill with a nice wind behind you also.

That 108MPH is indicated. Their speedos are notorious for over-reading. The true figure is probably within the realms of 90-100MPH. Smile

Yes indeedy. RS speedos often show 110mph, but I believe one of the magazines speed tested this and found it was a true 98mph.

I had my RS to an indicated 100mph once and never bothered doing it again. I was afraid it would seize! Laughing It was soon downgeared for better acceleration anyways, the wheelie power was more fun. Wink

Hi

Managed an indicated 115mph on level ground on my RS125, which was 750rpm into the red line in top gear. Reality probably somewhere between 100mph and 105mph.

All the best

Keith

Jon, stop saying that, your spoiling the poor lads fun! Wink On my RD, I will be hoping to get an indicated 95 out of it if I'm lucky.

An indicated 93mph on the NSR without redlining (I think it was at about 1.5k before redline), but I tend not to push it anymore as I'm selling it soon.

Who cares. God everytime i wonder down the list of threads I see this dumbass topic and resist the temptation to click and stress my feelings. You have drawn the line now. And its always "125". Man I hate that number so much. You obvioulsy want to go faster because your asking everyone how fast their 125 goes. Simple answer, get a bigger bike

Sure does come up a lot of times this sort of thread in one form or another Crying or Very sad

Best way to find out mate is to get the 'beast' dyno tested to give you a true figure to brag, or not, about Wink

Yeah but you can get a bigger cylinder head or bore or a bigger carb or a racing exhaust or better cdi unit etc etc.

this will make the bike do well over 100 mph

sorry if that was meant to sarcasm seemed genuine.
bigger bore means its no longer a 125cc and like bugsy46 said.
