Evil or Very Mad

ARGH FUCKING CAR DRIVERS.

2 Minors for entering corners a little too quickly.

1 Serious because some stupid bitch in a landrover on her own On a mobile phone decided to veer into my lane [outside] off on the exit of a roundabout.

Lots of horns later and I failed because i had made someone else swerve as i came closer to them from fear of being mowed down by petite nobhead in 4x4 posh landrover crap...

Oh well if it wasnt for her i would have passed and passed well and ebing as i cant afford a bike just yet no real harm done next test 12th may.

Women drivers... Rolling Eyes Wink

Unlucky, dont dwell on it, the night before your next test, go round your area letting down all the tyres on 4x4's to get rid of them on your test.

I doubt most of the drivers would notice a flat tyre! You'll just have a load of out of control 4x4's the next day!

Bad luck mate.

But at the risk of getting flamed - Have you ever noticed how when anyone fails their test it's always someone else's fault?

I hate to say it with experience you wouldn't have been in that position to be cut up - you would have moved to a position where you wouldn't have been cut up. Discuss...

That is fair enough and with experience they probably would have avoided it. But take into account he was on his test. That kind of means that he hasn't had that much experience yet.

Anyway, bad luck mate. Cars and Mobile phones are just accidents waiting to happen. If only we could stop the car and slap the driver we'd sleep much easier.

Best of luck next time Thumbs Up

Mate, I couldn't agree with you more. I am just trying to get a discussion going on why people fail their tests and what could be done to avoid a fail Thumbs Up

Let's face it, there is nothing difficult to riding a bike. Anyone can do it. I think one of the reasons that people fail their tests is that there is so much they can/will fail you for. Not going when there is space, nobody can judge the space/gap except for the person at the junction. If the rider does not want to commit then they should not feel pressured to do so. Only today i had so numpty in a fat volvo beep at me for not going at a junction that has less view than blackpool tower.

Not only things like that, i think nerves get some of us. You do one thing wrong and you think that's it and then it all falls to pieces.

Enough from me, what does anyone else think?

And thats another area biking trumps driving cars, to do your test you need your CBT so the oportunity to get some experience is given to you! Neutral

Rolling Eyes are 4X4 drivers ever in control? Confused

Know what you mean tho mate, and unlucky with the test, i nearly got slammed into the side by some numpty cage driver who just went straight accross the round about, i saw it coming and got on the anchors and just watched him shit himself as he thought i was gonna plow into the side of him. he was miles away looking straight ahead didn't look accross see what was coming at all!!!

i dunno, hope i never get like that.

Yeah it is easy to blame other people - but hand on heart if the silly twat wasnt there i would have passed.

I may have noticed but when your [fucking ironic really] worrying about how much hesitation to do before getting it up to speed immediately and lifesaving left right centre up and down and making a exaggeration at mirror checking.

Indicating and cancelling and lane discipline then the last thing you need is bitch 2000 in the 4x4 going "enny meeny miiny mo" with her lanes wtf are these people on HELLO Bright yellow bib with oh so huge L plates on some room would be nice.

Shocked

Man- this must be the 3rd post in as a week saying that an unfortunate soul failed. A tip for you is to do the test during school holidays where there would be less traffic around during the morning and evening rush hour - i did mine on the last friday of the easter hols and traffic was empty at 9.30 AM. IF there are less nobheads around to be considered a hazard, you'll be plain sailing provided you maintain your observation, but you'd have your work cut out for you when you have others thrown into the mix. I guess there's a correlation between passes and fails around holiday and term time.

Fact is, 2 of my mates passed their practical tests (car and bike respectively) prior to term recommencing, whilst now, i've read that 3 people have failed their bike tests due to circumstances of traffic, and 2 of my other colleagues at college got flummoxed over by other unobservant car drivers during their practical tests too and subsequently failed. I guess tip is to strategically plan your test on school hols Thumbs Up

Bad luck mate, you'll get it next time!

I failed my first test because of bad lane selection on my part. I put it down to test day nerves but it was wholly my fault. I know what you mean though, I'm allways hearing about how my mates would have passed their car/bike tests if something or other hadn't done something right in front of them causing them to make a hash decision.

Now if you had not pressed horn several times but rather kept your cool, no matter how stupid the driver maybe, and by coming to a controlled stop or to actually slow down. Once the danger has passed then continue on which will show the examiner that you're fully aware of the danger posed by the other driver and have taken appropriate action to avoid an incident.

He no doubt failed you because you didn't keep your cool but rather got yourself into road rage !

better luck next time !

I genuinely feared for my life lol.

Whatever though, i nailed the u turn and everything else is ok just dont deck it over in the corners because your fantasising about your 600rr.

IN respect to traffic yeah your right it wasnt the best time - 1330 on friday most people have a half day on fridays and are going home or are going on lunch or picking up kids.
