Ok, today I basically striped my back end on my speedfight 70, Cleaned it ALL with carb cleaner. And then put it all back together again.
The good thing is, When I pull away, the engine isnt bogging out anymore. See this thread.
The bad news is, Its still a pile of crap on take off.
Ive got 4g rollers in it (Nearly brand new).
Malossi Delta racing clutch (Quite new)
Malossi Drive belt.
Why is it still slow?
Once im doing sort of 5mph, I can get to top speed (60+) in no time! Its just initial take off what is SHITE!

My mate had a very similar problem on his Speedfight, and it was suggested that it was the clutch that was the problem, but I'm not very sure. I found that it was very slow for about 2 seconds, but then the power booted in all at once. Maybe adjust your variator so its in the powerband all the time ____________________ Honda MBX50 | Yamaha RD125LC | Suzuki RG125F Lucky Strike | Suzuki GSF600S

Well sometimes its is so quick off the line the front wheel lifts.
Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 seconds before the power kicks in.
And sometimes it goes for AAAAGES before it gets power.
Once its in the "powerband" it will pick up like a rocket. Its just it initial take off. And its a pain in the ass because I cant filter to the front at the lights because when they go green, all the cars overtake me.
I cant get my variator off anymore so cant do the rollers.
I used to stick a long bolt through a hole in the flywheel to get it off. but last time I did this, I took out one of the coils on the generator and I dare not do it again.
I need an air gun / power wrench.
