Right,

I am going to buy a blue flame exhaust for my ZXR 400. I am stuck between the double oval one with the blue effect, and the same but in carbon. Both can be seen here - https://www.demonbikes.com/productlist.asp?openmenu=Exhausts%20and%20Systems&Pagename=Exhausts+and+Systems+%3A+Blue+Flame&pid=18&id=59 They are £280 you will be able to see them.

Which one do you guys think will look best for my green and white ZXR, blue effect double oval or the carbon black one? I seriously can't decide and opinions would be much appreciated Very Happy

I understand at the end of the day it is my decision but I just want to know what you guys think,

Thanks,

Ben

Just under £300 including delivery. Can't wait to hear it Very Happy

Is there anything you need to do to these cans when you get them? Like do they have any form of restriction that keeps them road legal?

I'd go with the colored Titanium (not the carbon fibre).

She'll probably follow you around without you knowing to see if you race with anyone. Better yet, imagine you take off from the traffic lights and she zooms pass you Laughing ... Disturbing!

Very nice bike andy, always loved the RVF's.

When you say remove the baffles, how exactly do you do this? Plus, what difference does it make and does it make it illegal for road use?

Cheers dude Thumbs Up
The exhaust is BSM stamped making it road legal, BUT once you remove the baffles (eg making it a race can) its now illegal. As for sound it goes from Smile to Twisted Evil

To remove the baffles is easy, just a little clip pull them together and pull back, comes out easy enough. Ive only got the bottom one removed and it sounds awesome, a true 400cc sound. Though im sure the top one will dissappear soon as Alex (pheonix) keeps on about doing it while im not lookin' Rolling Eyes

Performance wise, ive noticed a major increase in the mid-range.
Recommend them fully, good luck with it.

Andy
