Hey mate,
i first used one the other day and it was a nightmare at first! (my bike is a 200 kg divvy) but after a while it gets easier, assuming you have a paddock stand (PS) that craddles the swingarm. first thing stick you bike on the side stand, then put the paddock stand under the swingarm and gently lift till the PS is in contact with the lefthand side of the swingarm then very slowly apply more pressure to lift the bike, the bike will come upright and the other side of the swing arm will be on the righthand side paddock stand craddle, then you can lift fully to get the bike up,
its advisable to put the bike on a very flat bit of tarmac!
on getting the bike down, put the side stand down and very slowly realise the paddock stand, once the back wheel is on the ground slighty rock the bike to the left onto the side stand and remover the PS!
jobs a gud'un
do all of this very slowly
Hope it helps

stand at rear of bike, and use those grab rails to hoik it up, or lift it from the side, then walk round to the back, steadying it
once its upright, it should be fairly happy to stay there with next to no input from you, just small adjustments to stop it toppling, steady with one hand, paddock stand with the other
once its located, you will be able to hold the bike upright using the paddock stand, then just push down and up she comes
you think thats scary, try doing it with a 230kg tiger! ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |

I do it slightly differently.
I stand on the left of the bike at the back wheel.
I use my left hand to move the bike from the sidestand into an upright position.
I then sit the paddock stand in positionand cradle the swingarm with both side of the stand.
Pusy directly down on the stand to secure the position.
To take it off I simply do the reverse.
PS dont forget to check your sidestand is down before you release the bike! |

Abba stand.
But then, I guess you wanted someone to tell you that before you bought a normal paddock stand. |
