Who remember Street Hawk? I seem to be the onlyperson at my work who does!

A question, exactly how many different bikes were used for it? And who want hyperdirve!? I DO!!!!

Personally I believe that Street Hawk is better then Night Rider (I'm sick of the thing, I wrok at a place called Nitriding Services - say it fast, and you'll sopon get the jist of all the stupid requests we get from "customers"), but no one else agrees with me Back me up - I'm not crazy am I?????

Street Hawk, blatantly....

Without Hasslehof (sp?) knight rider might have been better, not that it stops me watching it. If I remember the original idea was to have the show based more around the car, but Hasslehof and his *slight* ego problem meant it was centred around him Evil or Very Mad .

Yup - Street Hawk by miles. Quality TV!
Aren't they showing all the re-runs on Bravo at the mo'? Jesse Mark and Norman Tuttle - what class!

The original bike was sold recently at an auction for just a few grand. I forget what it was - some off road bike with plastic rocket launchers glued on.

But if you want to really show your age...

Who remembers Automan with his 90 degree cornering at light speed?

Damn - I AM OLD!!!!

Street Hawk ruled definitley, but obviously Knight rider was watched by more ppl. I dont seem to remember many episodes of Street Hawk.

And yeah chills I remember Automan, and his cursor that would turn into his car and perform outrageous 90degree corners at double speed.

I too rember Nighthawk - class TV except when he left the base. That really bad tacky slo-mo bit - same shot used in every episode.

Automan was quality TV but again fell down on the 90 degree corners. The creater/passenger always ended up in the same stupid position after each corner.

This bike is similar to what Street Hawk looked like before its conversion. There was actually a total of 15 bikes made for the show and there were three different types of bikes that were used:

* A 1983 Honda XL500 was used to make the bike used in the pilot episode.
* 3 1984 Honda XR500's were used to make the bike during the series.
* 11 1984 Honda XCR250's were used to make the bikes for the stunt scenes during the series.

Check out the attached for the MP3 intro soundtrack ... god that brings back memories!

Along the same kind of lines, there was a programme that was on, about the same kind of time, and no-body i have asked remembers it, I thought Annabelle had sorted it for me... but it isn't the same thing.

This programme involved a bright blue computer chip/cursor, that came out of the computer, drew things, like bikes, helicopters, cars, etc and then proceeded to beat the bad guys, the guy involved may or may not have also been pute generated, but his costume was linear, and matched the chip Rolling Eyes Confused

Anybody Question Or was it all a mad dream Question
