It sounds good yes, only problem being I have no need to pay for tyres, I work for Michelin and get my tyres for free from them, infact they're being fitted tomorrow afternoon.

The pilot powers are supposed to be good, I have to give the carcass back when they're worn down as well so I can't sell them. I got the tyres today but it turns out Michelin don't have the ability to fit bike tyres on site, how much will Bikerz rob me for that if I bring my loose wheels down on saturday?

Q. What is the legal tread depth limit in the UK?

A. Currently, it's 1.6mm across 3 quarters of the width of the tyre, with the remaining quarter tread pattern still visible. For 50cc scooters / mopeds there is no minimum depth as long as the whole tread pattern remains visible.

*BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ* Incorrect!

The correct answer is 1mm across 75% of the tire all the way around the band. 1.6mm is for cars although the scooter part is correct.

When I can get onto the Midlands section then yeh! im oviously gonna be at the Dyno meet cuz Iv got to work. Oh yeh before confusion Dom's right I aint no bloke, Im the blonde mechanic at Bikerz.

R4nger, thats Jim for you he built the site! The wear indicators are set at about 1.6mm, the legal limit is 1mm over 3 quaters of the tyre. I shall point it out to the boss on tomorrow.

Shaun if you bring the loose wheels down and your tyres I can fit and balance them for for about 19 quid if I remember rightly, although Iam blonde so could be wrong!
