Errrr... define race bike....... race bike can be any size.

I'm 5" 7 and don't have a problem riding ANY bike... well maybe a big cruiser Confused but I get on fine with my KTM, WR, R6, ZXR, SV etc.. I've ridden big muscle bikes like the XJR1300 with no problems either, they actually quite small Laughing

So yes at 5"7 you can "fit" on any bike, with you can ride it depends on how good you are Razz

Although I sometimes struggle with the KTM Razz Can't kick start it without leaning bike against something Laughing Not tall enough... /me hugs electric start Laughing

Most 125-250gp-ers are that size. I know for sure Danny Pedrosa's no taller than that height. It depends whether you'll be fit enough (as in having the endurance and strength) to handle the bike over the course of the race.

Yes you will.

A team mate in my football team has a ZX9R. He's only 5 foot 6 and has no problems controlling the bike whatsoever. It all comes down to ability and control.

I'm 5.7" and never had any problems, most of it is down to confidence and the rest is common sense.

My mate mike is 5'8 and rides a big traily thing!

Just wear hard soled boots (which you should be anyways) so you can tip toe if need be safely.

the ZX12 is possibly the worst example you can think of in terms of sports bikes, becuase of the up and over airbox/frame arrangement it is very tall in comparison to most

but still possible of course I'm 5'10" and I have no problems Wink

You might have a problem with RSV Milles, most bikes should be ok though.

I'm 5'7 and feel comfortable on most bikes. Although i've never ridden a ZX12 i've sat on a couple and found them huge and i wouldn't want to ride one. Saying that i've got a friend who's shorter than me who's always ridden physically big bikes and doesn't like the smaller sportsbikes like R1's.

I'm 5.6, I fit on my NSR perfectly but do you think I could fit on a CBR600 or R6 which I'm looking at for my next bike?

I tried the R6 at the bike show last year and found I could only reach to floor with tip toes although I think the bikes don't compress on the suspension cause they're on a stand. So with it compressed I might be able to get both balls of my feet down.

Are you 5.7 guys able to get both feet flat on the ground?

Agreed Aikman, im 6'4, and some of the pictures on my old 50cc sports, and recently riding the 350 goose again. I physically cant have duck feet. And i stood up to go over speed bumps, and the seats below my knees by a hell of a lot. Shocked

Wish i was ickle.

CBR fits everyone perfectly tho.
