Basically just wondering if anyone here is from cambridgeshire, Peterborough / area , out in the sticks as it were Wink just stuck for some decent rides anywhere now, all rodes seem to involve heavy traffic, potholed roads, bumps and humps, or farmers with tractors Razz ?
Was allright with my 50 or 125 bikes because a quick blast up to whittlesea was all it took to tire me out, but now on the 500 im looking for a bit more, excitement Wink lol*

I'm in Great Shelford, just south of Cambridge...

there's some fun roads between here and the norfolk coast... been up to Hunstanton a few times.. as well as a cambridge - Bury St Edmonds, Cromer, Gt yarmouth, cambridge run, which was fun Smile

avoid the fen roads tho.. the fens move so much (relatively speaking) you can get some inpreceptable ripples in the road surface.. tankslapper anyone??

IMHO there are loads of good roads near Cambridge.
B660 from Peterborough
A507 Buntingford to Baldock
most of the roads out towards Finchingfield
A143 haverhill to Bury
lots of the roads near Weston Colville

That's all I can think of off the top of my head at the mo.

Is there anyone in Cambridge that works shifts and is about in the day for rideouts? With a newish rider.
