Frankly anyone can pass without reading the Highway Code, it's all common sense. It does all apply, but if you've got half a brain you won't need to read it. If you need to for peace of mind though, they're only £1.50 and an hour of reading.

As for the 600, totally untrue, you have to pass it on a 124cc+ and it has to be capable of 60mph.

You could also save £1.50 by going here >> https://www.highwaycode.gov.uk <<

You need to be familiar with the highway code, but don't worry too much for the practical test as they don't ask you any questions on this it, all that was done on your theory test.

I don't think the're strict as such.
One major and its a fail, runa red or put yourself in danger etc..
I can't quite remember but I think you are allowed up to 5 minors on each section they mark you on and no more than 15 in total.

It's something like that anyway Razz

I think it's 3 minors in each section because the examiner told me I was lucky to only get 2 for putting part of the bike over the white line on a right turn. If the wheels had been over aswell it would have been three. He didn't say that would have been a fail but I think that's what he meant.

Depends on the test, for the DAS I think its a bike with 43Bhp??? Is that right? But theres definately no 600cc minimum. For the 125 test I think the 125 bit gives it away!

As for the highway code, Ive passed my car and bike test without reading it. It depends on your road sense I suppose but using the CD-rom questions for the theory will help, as will the advice from an instructor 9if you are going to use one!)
