I want to put -1 on the front sprocket. Hopefully this means i won't have to adjust the chain. Also will it affect the speedo? bike is a ZX6R J2 (2001) Also what will the difference in acceleration be like. Bike is 33bhp restricted. Thanks. |

speedo will be out by 1/16th of a mph but there will be the regular 10% out on top at speeds over about 80mph fitting +1 at the back will keep the chain at the correct lenght but the speedo will then be about 1/24th out on top of the corrected readout plus the regular 10% out on top of that I think this is how it works but don't quote me acceleration wise it is the best option for a 33 HP bike other than an atkins diet after all you can't exactly have more power yet hey? ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |

I thought -1 on the front i would be able to just move the back wheel abit to tighten the chain. I am getting the impression that some people think it is a good idea and some not, being 33bhp. So confused. |

Got another year after the 12th May.
I don't want to take the restrictors out because my dad will kill me and it would be just my luck to fuck up if i did.
So you think it's a good idea then. The sprockets are only like £20 so won't loose much if everything goes bad. |
