I have hit the side of a taxi doing three up on a H100 (similar to a cg) at 50mph. All three of us were thrown over the bonnet (with no helmets on) and managed to walk away.

I would say the chances of dieing on a CG is very slim, unless you hit a pole/get run over by a bus or something...

Mr. Green

Well done on "passing" (cant fail it, can you?) the CBT though!

No, you cant 'fail' it, but if the instructor thinks ur not up to scratch then u have to come back for more training... its a play on words really

Cmon man, dont give up so easily.

All you have to do is learn to be more confident on the bike, and learn to bully the drivers into giving you more space.

Its all about confidence on the bike, if you act like a noob sticking to the edge of the road, drivers will take advantage of you - So sit your arse in the middle and show em who's boss.

Give it a month and you will change your mind as confidence builds and you start to enjoy it more.

To begin with I was scared of getting on the bike but it went away the minute I pulled away. Now I still get a little nervous before a ride but just deal with it.

the best thing to do is just get out there, get some experience in and OWN your part of the road, i always find if a driver gets too close or looks like they're about to do something stupid giving them a stare over your shoulder does the trick.

I'm still a learner but i'm not nervous at all on the road ( 6 years of driving cars, and 2 years on bikes), the only thing i'm nervous about is the examiner assessing my ride lol Rolling Eyes

In all honesty, build up some confidence and go and sit you DAS test, you will soon get bored of the CG125. Also bigger bikes are slightly more imposing on the road, e.g. drivers are less likely to bully you.
