That has to be my favourite shape R1, the neons looks stupid but polished rims aren't too bad. Smile

I dunno if the neons make it tacky, moreso the colour choice, I think a red neon would look quite good. Cool

I like it a lot. That shape R1 is the best. Better than that horrible under seat pipe thing and in those colours it's wanking material.
I would get one but it's to much on the wrists.

HAHAHA no way mate! I like R1's and power but not very keen on the whole 3rd gear power wheelie kind of power after a little blat down the freeway (very scary) and I am starting to think I am not suited to sportsbikes as I get too sore from riding them I just noticed it on my local areas forum, thats the forum where I am trying to sell my ZX-6R but the 3 people who were interested in it say it has too many kilometers on the clock! I have just had the 12000 km service done after owning it for 14 months! thats about 530 miles per month Laughing seems like people here in OZ are only concerned in buying used bikes that have sat in the shed and let the batteries go flat!

That's a very nice bike, I don't see why you don't like those neons - they're tastefull and not over the top with little led's everywhere, i also think the blue looks good.

very nice bike indeed Smile

If you like the R1 styling that much it'd probably be better to go for an R6 as a first bike, the R1 is VERY VERY fast, and a dangerous bike for even the most experienced riders, so is the R6, but to quote someone on the site..

The R6 can kill you, but the R1 wants to kill you.

I like the R1 styling not the R6's in fact there is very littile I like about R6's thats why I want a RESTICTED R1

P.S. Funny but being a passanger on an R6 is the reason I want a bike at all

Hmm, I dunno, if its restricted how old are you? you'd be better waiting for other members replying because i dont very much about the R1, if you're under 21 then the insurance will be VERY expensive, the insurance company don't care if it's restricted or not, also as I said before, its fast as hell...even the gsx600 seems insane for a new rider, but an R1..its down to you at the end of the day, if you like it go for it, but be VERY careful, because on something like an R1 pulling the throttle a little hard by accident, or taking a corner wrong will end with you on the wrong side of the road, or the wrong side of a car bonnet!
Obviously all this stuff is even possible on a 125, its just highly likely on an R1!

Hahahahahahaha. Insurance will be more than the bike and restricted R1 would be crap.

That's a good point, if you don't plan to derestrict it as soon as you have the restriction papers, the R1 would be awful to ride

I thought I wanted a ZX-10R before I had a go on one and I can tell you now I can't believe the bike companies make these litre bikes for the road because they are way too scary I mean I went over a pothole and must have blipped the throttle in second gear around a corner and just that little brrrp made me run wide on the exit almost hit a curb and looked and felt like a real twat Embarassed I think I will never be as fast on a litre bike as I am on my current bike because where a 600 is partially forgiving because of it's higher revs and less power at the lower end of the revs a litre bike has almost as much power as a 600 has at 12,000RPM+ with less than half the revs applied. It's hard to explain but you will know exactly what I mean once you ride one Shocked choose your bike choose your consequences good luck with your decision Thumbs Up
