Sorry for starting another thread about protective clothing.
I ride everyday, go to work in normal shite, shirt, jeans or trousers, boots.
I am finding it hard to find protective bike gear that can go over my clothes, my jacket is fine but it seems all the trousers I have tried you need to change out of all the time.
Can leathers go over my clothe?
If not can anyone recommend some trousers that will protect me and go over trousers?.

Thanks

i used to use nitro overtrousers, you will have to put with creased jeans or get a baggy pair, make sure you get the jacket to match tho so they zip up, i have scars to prove what happens when jacket and trousers pull away from each other Wink

I usually wear a pair of draggin' jeans over my work trousers along with leather jacket and shirt.

When I bought the jeans they fitted perfect and now that ive lost wait and gone down a jeans size they fit really well over a pair of trousers.

Gives the ladys in work a thrill as well cause they have no idea you are wearin trousers under your jeans - as you do.

Draggin Jeans, are at https://www.dragginjeans.co.uk

There's another outfit that produce textile jeans, Hood jeans are at https://www.hoodjeans.co.uk

I have a pair of Hein Gericke cordura jeans (with their flexible armour). Can keep these on at work (office job) as black so no problem. I like these and apart from having to have the legs altered they've been a great buy. Try their shop/catalogue as the UK web site is under construction (and has been for quite a while Evil or Very Mad)

The Hood ones are more robust and have significantly more Kevlar in them.. and are also, on average, slightly cheaper than the draggin.
