can you fail for pushing the bike round in a U turn - am fine if its flat but am not pushing my bike up a hill thats what the engines for!

probably if you drop it , but then again my examiner did not even watch me push the bike , though he'd probably fail me if I did drop it .

You have to get your rear observation and lifesaver in while doing your walkabout uturn.. However I pushed my bike around rather quickly and my examiner wasn't even looking!

That would be so wrong if they made you do that. On my test we ended up on the hilly side of Macclesfield, I was slightly worried, but the examiner found a nice flat spot for the U.

As to whether they would fail you for dropping it, suppose that comes under the category of 'poor vehicle control' Confused

You are requested to push the bike round in a U turn, and then Ride it round a U Turn straight afterwards so you are facing the same way again. So no you wont fail for pushing it around because pushing it is part of the test.
