There was a guy in Staples Ashton the other day wearing a NABD jacket. Saw him as I was going to clock in. Was going to try and make a donation but he left as I came back to start work. Wasn't anyone from on here was it?

P.S > I get 10% off there, not much but if you're ever buying alot of stuff, give me a shout.

If it was last Friday, that would probably have been me.

Cheers,

Byrnie.

The bands are all booked as far as I know. Rick Hulse is the guy any band would need to speak to.

Always worth sending a cd to him.

Cheers,

Byrnie.

Cheers,

I'm going!!!

I wanted to ask if it's possible to just pop along for the day though, as we were thinking of going on Sunday.

Do they do day tickets and let people in on the gate?

Not much happens on Sunday, it's mainly 'recover from hangover, eat something, pack up and go'. Saturday is the best day to visit.

Day tickets are available on the gate, which last til 7pm (I think). Basically turn up, pay the ticket price on the gate. As long as you leave before 7pm, you can claim a part refund.

Cheers,

Byrnie.

I think I'll come along on the Saturday then...may as well stay until Sunday morning so I can have a social drink. Just got to make sure McJam can get the Saturday off work.

I can't wait to meet more BCF people!! Very Happy

Go on, you know you want to Wink

Beer's a quid a can (except Stella & Newkie, £1.25 a can). Foods cheap enough.

Ten bands, comedy club, 2 DJ's and a weekends camping for £14.

And the added satisfaction of knowing every penny is used to help get disabled riders back on the road.

Cheers,

Byrnie.

The weathers looking good for the weekend (it's dry and sunny here).

The prebook tickets sold out, but as the site has plenty of space, paying on the gate is still on.

This is actually my tenth anniversary of doing this rally (I've only just realised this!) and I can honestly say that this is looking at being the best yet.

I'm heading off to the site in the morning to set up, but I'll be back home later (got to pick up my son from school).

Cheers,

Byrnie.
