'Carry Out Annual Quality Assurance Review - In Office All Day' were the words that greeted me this morning as I opened my diary Sad

12 o'clock came and I'd had enough, sat in a room with one window nailed shut (Health and Safety Failure unless my request for a coffee aren't met within 2 minutes Wink), sunlight beaming in, papers mounting up around me, and apathy setting in quicker than a well buttered Speeding Bullet.

I can remember saying 'Fock This' and the next thing I recall is my car pulling up to my front door, garage opening and the gleam of the TT as the sunlight hit it. Next suit replaced by a pair of Jeans (Health and Safety Failure unless you sometimes just have to ride au natural), Alpinestars Leather Jacket, Gloves n Helmet and I'm off. Out onto the road, cool breeze hitting me sunlight dancing off the wing mirrors dazzling me every now and again, filtering through traffic, jealous looks from old blokes on Buses, thumbs up from School Kids sauntering back to lessons after lunch pleading with me to open the throttle just that little bit more. The note of the exhaust going down the gears as I approach traffic lights, blipping the throttle as I slow down, quick flicks around roundabouts, places that you'd have to wrestle with a steering wheel if you were driving.

It's no more than 3 miles from home to my work and I'm now sat at my desk again, grinning from ear to ear, knowing that I've gotta ride her home too - I'll never get tired of this biking lark it's fantastic Thumbs Up

I thought it was gonna end with something like.

“And then I died”

Or something, good to see a topic that cheers me and thinks about riding home, not crashing. Thumbs Up

I love your writing skills! That was fantastic, great imagery put too use! Very Happy

I love that urge you get to ride the bike and then you come home all satisfied! Very Happy
