Ok, I was riding up this long hill towards a roundabout at the end of my road. There was about 500 meters to the roundabout.

I looked up the road and saw this Green Kawasaki Ninja (brand new by the looks of it).

It was comming towards me on the wrong side of the road overtaking about 20 cars. And without exageration, Id say he was doing ATLEAST 100mph!

As he approached me, he tucked in towards the traffic on his side of the road, and I tucked over the the left. As he got close, He Nodded to me. (Biker thing).

Once he passed, I looked up the road again to see a Police skoda hammering towards ME On MY side of the road. I had no choice but to ride up onto the pathment. Its a good job there were no cars behind me!

So I take it the Skoda was chasing the Bike.
I was pretty amazed at it all, First police chace ive ever seen in real life.

I was also pretty amazed that due to the fact the biker was being chased at 100mph. He still remembered to Nod! Razz

I'd wager he hadn't quite noticed the new friend he'd made following him in the Skoda. How's that for a shitty surprise after a balls-out overtake and a nod from a fellow biker. Serves him right, I guess. Confused

Plod are only supposed to persure if it is safe to do so. Overtaking that many cars and forcing oncoming traffic onto the pavement is far from safe. What if you didnt react in time. SPLAT! Evil or Very Mad

We are all bikers btw, we do know...

Sounds scary to me, I'd rather not be riding on the pavement if I can help it, silly police man.

Was going down the M27 in the van yesterday when a bike went past at about 110 mph ++ about 2 seconds later another bike went past at same sort of speed, then all of a sudden a police bike went past just as fast, then went faster to overtake the bikes and presumably either pulled them or continued chasing (we left motorway so didn't see it all..)

another example of our hitler worshipping police force. they break the rules and get away with it (based on the fact i know about 10 coppers... the most corrupt dangerous drivers i've seen) Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

binge, do me a favour. go to the local police station and complain. cause a real stink (you scared for your life, etc...) and make sure you request to be updated with the disciplinaryu actionm of the officer as it wasnt safe. never know you may get compensation too. but i'm more interesting in screwing our number one reason for crashes in the uk ... th police (or their cameras, etc...)

thanks!

glad he didnt hit you tho... the forums would be... err... quieter without you
Razz Twisted Evil Razz

still quite funny and i guess the biker got his reward for his dangerous driving.Karma
